About
I am a writer sidetracked by life and a mom who chose to work at home 18 years ago. My boys are older now — one in college, one in high school — and I suddenly find myself with time to write again. This blog and my View from the Middle blog give me a reason to write at least something every week, or mostly every week — which is what a writer needs to do.
This is a chronicle of my mid-life writing journey. Please feel free to tag along and share my travels in the writing world.
Very impressed with your idea, but you need to write something about yourself on this page: look at me, making out I’m an expert, haven’t been going that long myself!! Good luck!
Thank you. I am still trying to figure out the whole blogging thing and WordPress. I’ll have something here soon!
the site’s looking great. one question: how do you make your comments visible – is it the theme you have chosen or a widget/menu/thingy?
Thanks, and I apologize for taking a few days to answer back. I’m not sure about how to make the comments visible…I’ll check it out some and let you know.
Hi. I have presented you with Liebster Blog Award.
I don’t know how you feel about awards, but if you would like to accept, please follow these rules:
• Thank your Liebster Blog Award presenter on your blog.
• Link back to the blogger who awarded you.
• Pick (up to) 5 other blogs who fit within the award parameters (less than 200 followers).
• Inform them that you have chosen them by leaving a comment on their blog.
• Post the award on your blog (you can take it from my post). http://alettertomychildren.wordpress.com/2012/01/26/mother-dearest/
If not, I hope that you will enjoy some added traffic from having been posted on my blog.
Cheers.
Wow! Thanks! That is so cool! I’ve heard about it, but don’t know much. I’m definitely going to check out what that means now.
Give me a day or two and I will be passing it on.
oh, p.s. I looked all over your blog for your name, couldn’t find it, so I guess that’s the way you want it? May I call you Mother? I love the name of your blog, by the way — In my head I can hear you (?) say that, and it makes me laugh!
